As many of you know, my mother and I have worked on our genealogy for several years and have had this page in one form or another for several years.  On December 26th, 2005 - I lost my mother.  She had many medical problems and essentially died from the effects of lung cancer.  I can't tell you how much I will miss my mother and our friendship.  My mother was my best friend, my confidante, and my inspiration.  She faced her challenges with a great deal of courage and humor - I can only hope that I can face the challenges of life with as much courage and dignity as she demonstrated.  I will continue on with the genealogy research because I enjoy it and it is a way to celebrate those who came before us.  I hope that she is up there in heaven getting all of the answers to the questions that we have searched long and hard for.  I like to think that she is reunited with those she loved and is looking over those of us here on earth who love her and miss her!

We owe a great deal of gratitude to many people: Anne Bell for her help in gathering info and pictures.  Grandma (H.M. Johnson) for her help and encouragement.  All of those people who filled out forms, sent us information, or did lookups for us, via email.  My father for his patience, interest, and unique skill at finding the elusive clue in the microfilm.  We have always said that genealogists are the most generous people in the world. We have always found that the case.  Please feel free to send any comments or questions.

Please drop us a line if you would like more information or would like to comment on our page.
